The trap
When a factory contributes PF on full Basic instead of capping at ₹15,000, the pension share (EPS) must still be calculated on the ₹15,000 ceiling — never on full Basic. Get it wrong and every month’s ECR overstates pension, understates EPF, and gets rejected or silently mis-files.
